The Italian football association is investigating the possibility of banning the wearing of women’s tactical and women’s shorts in all international matches.
In the lead up to the 2018 World Cup, UEFA has confirmed that women’s football shorts are not allowed during all games, including friendly matches, and that they will be banned from international matches only during the World Cup.
Women’s tactical shorts are often worn in international matches by women’s national teams, but are not currently banned.
The Italian FA has been asked to investigate whether the women’s shirts worn by women in international football should be banned.
It is not yet clear whether the ban would be for women’s only or for women only, with some women’s supporters claiming that women should be able to wear them.
A statement issued by the FA said:The use of the female and male names for the female players, the female coaches and the female officials is considered an offensive reference to women and women in general.
The FA also wants the European Commission to investigate the issue.
