When it comes to clothes, it’s often not the first thing to get talked about.
For some, it may be the last.
But the first question people ask about the new women’s apparel brand called the Lizzie D.C. Collection is about being “the best woman.”
It’s an attempt to redefine what a woman looks like and what it means to be strong, confident and beautiful.
“It’s about being who you are, how you look and how you feel,” said Lizzi Deutsch, the owner and creative director of the L.A.-based company, which debuted its first collection at the 2015 World Expo in New York.
“The only time you’ll hear that women don’t wear skirts, you’ll be a girl, so I wanted to do something to break that.
And so I designed the Littlest Sister Collection, a collection of all sorts of women’s outfits that you won’t see in any of the fashion magazines.”
The Lizzies lookbook includes dresses, blouses, skirts, dresses and even dresses made with cotton.
Each one features lace and tulle.
Some have lace-up back pockets, which are ideal for winter wear.
Lizziedans dress is made from 100 percent cotton and is available in two different sizes.
The collection is being offered at Macy’s, Nordstrom and the department store chain, Sears.
Littledans dresses are $80, while dresses made from a similar fabric and fabric in the Litterbox collection, which is $75, are available at Walmart.
The Littles sister collection is $200.
Each Lizzedans dress comes with a cotton blouse, skirt, blouse and accessories.

“When we launched the L-1 clothing line, we thought women of color and women of the LGBTQ community were being overlooked.
And we wanted to break down the stereotypes and tell a different story,” said Deutsch.
“And this collection really reflects that story.”
The designs are meant to be seen as a representation of the most authentic women’s fashion in the world, with a focus on strength, confidence and beauty.
The line is inspired by a love of traditional and modern designs and garments.
Deutsch says that the goal is to break into the fashion market by telling a different, more authentic story about women.
“I think what we’re really trying to do is to tell the truth, to be true to our selves and to be proud of who we are.

The dresses come in two sizes: Small, which comes in a simple blouse with a skirt and matching skirt, and Medium, which includes a skirt, skirt and blouse.
