A ‘bulk’ sale at Amazon is not exactly something that most of us dream of, but that is exactly what happened this week when a retailer sold its top-selling women’s lingerie for £50.
Amazon has previously sold items with similar prices and prices for women’s underwear and bras, but this is the first time the retailer has sold a ‘buy one, get one free’ promotion.
The offer was only available for the first day of sales on Monday and the first 24 hours of the promotion, but on Monday it sold over 3,000 items with a total price of £50,000.

The online retailer said the promotion has boosted sales by £5.8 million.
Amazon said the ‘bundle sale’ offered a “very attractive” deal, which was not the only advantage the retailer had.

“The offer was available for a limited time and you can expect to see it again soon,” Amazon added.
The promotion is one of Amazon’s most popular, and is often one of its biggest, as it allows customers to pay just for a certain item.

It’s a great example of how we’re working with brands like Amazon to empower women to be proud of themselves and the products they love.
“Amazon’s Women’s Clothing and Accessories section has traditionally sold for less than $100 a piece.
