A Vietnamese woman wearing a pair of designer women’s clothes, some of which are made in Vietnam, was found last week wearing an unusual outfit in downtown Miami.
According to a report by the Miami Herald, an employee of the department store on Lake Okeechobee spotted the woman, who was dressed in black and purple, on Sunday wearing a pink and purple “unique women” clothing.
It was unclear if the clothing was new, but the Herald reported that the woman was wearing a black leather jacket, white pants, a black and red vest, a purple and white headscarf and a white scarf.
The woman was reported missing the next day, the Herald said.
The clothing was not made by a Vietnamese clothing manufacturer, according to the Herald.
The Herald reported the woman wore the outfits to a nearby business to promote her new clothing line, but that she did not know how she had acquired them.
“I didn’t know they were Vietnamese until they asked me for it,” said a customer who was also wearing the outfit, the paper reported.
The garment is made by the brand Mcm Women’s Clothing, which was founded in Vietnam in 2004.
